There Is Video of Justin Bieber Telling a Racist Joke

In this video — first obtained by the UK’s Sun tabloid — you will see Justin Bieber telling a racist joke. “Why are black people afraid of chain saws?” asks Bieber. And even though an off-camera friend warns him, “Don’t even say it,” he continues with the offensive, stupid punchline, which involves the n-word. According to Page Six, the pop star was around 17 when the clip was shot as part of filming for 2011’s Justin Bieber: Never Say Never. (TMZ reports Bieber’s age in the video to be 15.) Either way, the now 20-year-old’s team reportedly knew about the recording’s existence and unsuccessfully offered someone “big bucks” to keep it from leaking. We wish we could say that we were shocked by the footage, but unfortunately, it seems to be right in line with Bieber’s well-established reputation for being a gross, thoughtless little brat.
