Harry Styles is the internet's ultimate boyish beauty icon - and his first order of business is putting the male manicure back on the map.
After launching his beauty range, Pleasing, the singer certainly pleased us all with the beautiful campaign imagery for the brand, proudly championing genderless beauty and in its own words, "dispel[ling] the myth of a binary existence."
Of the select few products he launched alongside the new platform, Harry's first thought was to create nail polishes - telling Dazed that painting his nails brought him joy.
And so, the ever-influential Mr Styles has reignited a trend for the male manicure - sparking a massive 457 per cent spike in searches for the term, according to LookFantastic. And apparently, the term 'Harry Styles nails' gets an average of 40,500 searches a month.
He has said of his love of nail art, and launching the products: “It’s starting with nail polish, because that was kind of the birth of what it was for. Me seeing a colour on a flower or a wallpaper or something and thinking, ‘Oh, I wanna put that on my nails’."
Harry isn't the only male star to love a manicure, either. A$AP Rocky loves to experiment with nail art, as does LilNasX - Brad Pitt, Jared Leto and Jason Momoa have all been known to sport colourful polish on their nails, too.
For his first launch, Harry chose to debut four shades of his sell-out nail varnish - a pearly white (said to be inspired by one of his favourite jewellery pieces - his pearl necklace), an inky black, a candy pink and a pearlescent clear shade.

Loved by many male stars, the classic black manicure is the ideal entry point. Harry's version has his signature pearlescent effect, but he's also sported a clean, glossy black in the past, just like some of his glam rock heroes like Freddie Mercury and David Bowie - LilNasX is also a fan, and so are we.
Smiley face nails
Harry's smiley-adorned nails almost broke the internet when he sported them back in 2019 to promote his album Fine Line - and they've been a go-to simple nail art option ever since.
According to LookFantastic, searches for 'smiley face nail designs' are up a massive 550 per cent.
Flame nails
With an equally impressive 364 per cent search increase, will we see Harry sport 'flame nails' next? We could totally see A$AP Rocky or LilNasX with these designs, too.
Pastel nails
After releasing his Pleasing shades, pastel tones are back on the rise thanks to Harry - their searches are up by 132 per cent. Think Watermelon Sugar pinks and greens.
Rainbow nails
For those that can't choose a colour, a rainbow manicure is the only way to embrace every shade. And yes - you guessed it - Mr Styles has a penchant for painting every nail a different colour, too.
In a number of images for his brand, he shows off his impressive hand modelling skills - as well as the joy of a multi-manicure - by sporting every shade. Paint one, paint two, leave some bare - the possibilities are endless. Isn't that Pleasing?
