Emma Gordon

Emma Gordon is a senior publicist on NPR's media relations team, where she leads podcast publicity. Since joining NPR in 2022, she's placed features on NPR hosts and coverage of NPR's reporting in The New York Times, Vanity Fair, Bloomberg, Billboard and more. Prior to NPR, she worked in publishing, where she developed campaigns for New York Times bestsellers The 99% Invisible City and The Last Book on the Left, as well as for literary fiction, memoirs and cultural criticism from beloved writers including Quinta Brunson, Anne Helen Petersen and Duchess Goldblatt.

Gordon graduated magna cum laude from Northwestern University with a degree in English and a concentration in creative writing. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

Originally from Los Angeles, she now lives in Brooklyn. She can be found doing many of her favorite activities – reading, biking, running – in Prospect Park.
