The hype:
After the 'Chin Up' Mask went viral for shaving centimetres off people's jawlines, we were intrigued to try a gravity-defying chin/neck mask for ourselves. This one from Oh K! focuses on firming, but as more of a hydrating treatment to combat the strain of time spent leaning over computer screens and phones. Hence why it has the name 'Tech Neck'.

Oh K! Tech Neck Targeted Mask Review:
After seeing the bulky headgear those who tried the 'Chin Up' mask were required to wear, I was relieved to open the Oh K! Tech Neck and find it very similarly packaged to your regular sheet mask.
The only difference being, that the shape of the mask caters for contouring the neck and chin area, with one hole for the mouth and four holes either side and section, to wrap around your ears. Once you have it on, it kind of looks like a Santa beard...
When applying the mask, the skin-down side wasn't as saturated in serum as some usually are, so it was very manoeuvrable and not too slippery. I did, however, manage to break one of the ear holes by trying to force it too quickly. The material is stretchy, so as long as you go slow you'll be able to hook each hole around your ear easily, but too hard and fast will end in disaster.
The mask ends up being pulled quite tight across the face because of the firm-fit, making talking tricky. But it is quite comfortable and feels as though your chin(s) are being lifted away.
After 10-20 minutes of wearing my white beard, I removed the mask and rubbed in the residue (though there wasn't much). There was a slight indent in my skin from where the mask sat, a sign of the firm lifting effect, which is quite impressive for just a sheet mask material. Other than that, my skin didn't look overly different. Perhaps a little plumper.
Final verdict:
If you're looking to shave centimetres off your chin (even temporarily), this isn't the mask for you. If you're looking for some hydrating ingredients to be soaked into your neck area to make up for neglect and possibly see some firming results - give it a go. It's also a great one for face mask selfies because you don't have to remove your eye makeup. Priorities.
