Starting with the iPhone 12 release in September 2020, Apple began shipping its smartphone models without a wall charger and earbuds, citing environmental concerns from excess packaging. While most people eventually bought these accessories to pair with their phones, you may have to pick up a few additional items now, with the unveiling of Apple’s new iPhone 15.
The iPhone 15 — and its new USB-C port for charging and data transfer — means many iPhone users will need a new wall charger to power up their phone. The iPhone 15 also once again does not come with earbuds — or even a slot to plug in wired earbuds — so you’ll have to find a workaround for that as well.
